High School Assistant Principal
Here at Rice High School we are looking forward to a GAME CHANGING year! We are excited about the great year ahead where we will work hard to create a safe and supportive environment where students and staff can grow!
As the Assistant Principal & Director of State and Local Assessment, I could not be more excited to return to RHS. Several years ago, I was the Spanish teacher and Key Club sponsor here on our campus. Since then, I have worked as a classroom teacher, ESL Interventionist, and Campus Testing Coordinator for the IMS. I have earned a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education and a Master's in Educational Administration, both from Lubbock Christian University, and hold certifications in Spanish, Speech, English, ESL, and Administration.
Although I grew up and graduated from Mildred High School, I am a Bulldog at heart. My family and I are committed and loyal members of Bulldog Nation, and I am dedicated to making Rice High School an exciting and empowering place to be. This desire comes from my personal mission to do what's right, do it well, and empower others to do the same. Every decision I make is based on my three core values of integrity, excellence, and encouragement.
I believe that open communication is the cornerstone for success. I am always up for new ideas, productive discussions, and a challenge. Feel free to contact me at any time for any reason.
