High School Associate Principal
Dear Parents and Students,
Hello! I am very excited and honored to have been named Associate Principal of Rice High School. Along with my new duties, I will continue to serve as Campus Testing Coordinator and Special Populations Coordinator. I will continue to work with students, helping them to develop plans for post-secondary life, including college, career, and military readiness. In addition, I will also be involved with curriculum and instruction, as well as, other daily school operations. I am thankful for the opportunity to grow professionally in the Rice ISD.
Personally, I graduated from Ennis High School and attended Baylor University, graduating with a Bachelor of Business Administration. Several years later, I felt called to become a teacher. I eventually received my Masters of Education in Leadership of Learning and Curriculum and Instruction from Abilene Christian University and my Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Lamar University. I have taught 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades in the Ennis Independent School District. I have also served as an Elementary Curriculum Facilitator in the Corsicana Independent School District. For the past three years, I was an Assistant Principal at Corsicana Middle School.
I am excited to see our students excel this school year and beyond! If you ever have any questions, comments, or concerns, please feel free to call me at 903-326-4502.
