I’m excited and grateful to join Rice Intermediate Middle School as an Assistant Principal for the

upcoming school year.

With experience as an Assistant Principal and an Interim Principal, I am dedicated to creating a

positive and inclusive learning environment for all students and staff.

I come from a family of educators and began my educational journey as a Social Studies

teacher and coach. My passion for education and leadership led me to the pursuit of a Master’s

degree in Educational Administration from Lamar University, and currently striving to complete

the Superintendent certification.

In addition to my educational roles, I have a background in coaching, which has helped with my

development in leadership and team-building skills. As an administrator, I have focused on

student discipline, attendance, and curriculum development. I enjoy working closely with

teachers to implement effective teaching strategies and supporting students in achieving their

academic goals. I am an advocate for extracurricular activities, and believe they play a crucial

role in student development.

Outside of school I enjoy coaching, hunting, and spending time with family. My dedication as a

life-long learner and education has led me here to Rice ISD where I look forward to joining the

Bulldog Nation.
