Over the past two years, teachers and school leaders have worked together to develop instructional frameworks for Reading and Math based on research-based instructional strategies. These frameworks are a guide for all stakeholders to contribute meaningfully to the success of Rice ISD students.

Both frameworks were complimented by the Texas Education Agency. The math framework received a perfect score, and the reading framework has been used as an exemplar for other districts and in TEA training materials.
