Reflecting on the last week of school, Rice IMS had an absolute blast celebrating the incredible accomplishments of our students. We wrapped up the year on such a high note:

Our 8th graders celebrated the end of their middle school journey with an unforgettable, fun-filled day at Six Flags!
Showing up matters, and it definitely paid off! We loved showering our students with fantastic gifts and prizes to celebrate their excellent attendance.

Third graders enjoyed a trip to the movies this week because they had the best attendance for the entire district during the last grading period!! Way to go, third grade!!

📚🏆 Battle of the Books at Rice IMS! 🏆📚
Our students recently participated in Battle of the Books where they competed by using their knowledge to answer trivia questions based on the books they have read throughout the year! 📖💡
Our students did an amazing job showcasing their hard work, reading comprehension, and teamwork — and most importantly, they had a lot of fun doing it! 👏🎉
A huge THANK YOU to Mrs. Braly and Mrs. Baldwin for organizing and putting on this wonderful event each year. We appreciate all the time and effort you put into creating such a great experience for our students! 💙🐾

Athletic Booster Club meeting information
Our 7th grade students had a blast on their field trip today! 🎣🐟 They traveled to Athens to visit the Freshwater Fisheries Center, where they learned about fishing, wildlife, conservation, and the great outdoors. It was an awesome hands-on experience for our students, and they represented Rice IMS very well throughout the trip. Thank you to everyone who helped make this day possible for our students! 💙🐾
