On Saturday, March 7th, Rice High School sent 5 artists to attend the Regional Visual Art Scholastic Event (VASE) in Killeen. Our Seniors Jereimy Cabral and Ariana Eduardo-Cruz took two pieces each and both received perfect scores on one of two artworks; each earned a medal with their second artworks as well. Addison Estes earned a medal for her photography for the 3rd year. New attendees this year were Jordan Reed and Kaylyn Reznicek and we are thrilled to announce that they received medals their first year. Rice ISD is so proud of each of you for representing us with your talents. Congratulations on your remarkable success!

Introducing the 2026-2027 RHS Cheerleaders

Our 6th Grade GT students recently sponsored a donation drive for the Corsicana Animal Shelter—and they did an amazing job from start to finish! 🐾
The students designed and translated the flyers, organized the entire drive, and even sent emails to request approvals. With participation from 5th through 8th grade students, the drive was a huge success. Together, they collected an incredible 621 items to help support animals in need.
Last Friday, the 6th Grade GT students delivered the donations to the animal shelter in person. We are so proud of their leadership, initiative, and compassion for our community!
Great job, Bulldogs!

Our students spent the day rotating through all 9 specialized programs offered at the North Texas campus. A huge thank you to Texas State Technical College for hosting us and showing our Bulldogs what "hands-on" really means!
