Dear Bulldog Nation,
I am honored to serve as the Rice High School Assistant Principal for the 2022-2023 school year. This is my 17th year at Rice ISD. Over the course of my journey as an educator, I have taught 3rd-5th grades and served as the special education teacher for grades 3-8.
I have three boys. The oldest two are RHS graduates, and the youngest is in 8th grade this year. My oldest son is the reason I made the move from my previous school district to Rice. As a parent, I wanted him to attend the best school district. I did my research and talked to a lot of
people. Not one person had a negative thing to say about Rice ISD. In August 2006, my son
started kindergarten, and I started my career at Rice Elementary as a 5th-grade self-contained
teacher. This is one of the best decisions I have ever made for my family.
I have been blessed to be part of a school district where parents/guardians, administrators,
teachers, and students care for each other and strive to build positive relationships that support
academic and social growth. I am excited to join the high school community, see my previous
students/families, and get to know the new students/families. Please feel free to contact me
anytime you have any questions or concerns.
Go Bulldogs!
